Oven Care – tips to help ensure you’re looking after your oven…

We recently have seen some issues with the old style foil trays or tin foil being used on the base of enclosed element ovens (which are most of the ovens we now see). Foil when left on the bottom can weld to the base of the oven and then trying to remove it creates damage. If a tenant does this then they will be liable for the excess on insurance due to careless damage. We are asking all our tenants (and recommending to owners) that they remove any foil and work on keeping the oven wiped out regularly to help keep on top of the dreaded oven clean!
